We're Engaged!

Hey Everyone!
It's Jess, I think that you all know by now, but Porntepp and I are engaged! We got engaged on Feb. 13th and we're getting married on June 26th in the Bountiful Temple. We are both really excited as is my mom, of course, she loves Nep (porntepp's nickname around the wall fam) and I think my dad is happy too, just kidding, he really like Nep too, so things are good!
We hope that you all can come to the wedding! We would LOVE to have everyone there, because that's what makes the wall family weddings so much fun! We promise to have good food and dancing :) So again, it's June 26th, a Friday in the Bountiful Temple with a luncheon after and then the reception is at the Pointe in SLC. And don't worry, you'll all get an invitation.
Hope to see everyone! Love you all and thanks to Kristyn for setting up this blog, it's fun to keep track of everyone!
The picture above is of us right after we got engaged.

Kim & Bernices humanitarian trip to Mexico!

Mid December 2008 -
Here are some pictures of the Mexico trip we did with the family on Saturday. Thanks to all for your support. This is what we took.

We have lot's of clothes, some toys,
blankets, one microwave, some carpet and rugs.
Most of this was given to us. We did buy toys,
like barbie dolls. We bought 8 basketballs,
and 8 soccer balls.
(they call that football)

With the rest of the money we bought food. Floor, corn meal which they use for corn tortillas, cooking oil, sugar, salt, some cookies beans. We stopped at a store in Mex that sells beans for cheaper than Wal-Mart. Over all we spent about $750 dollars. You saved the day for us on that. We met them at the border, there side, and they took us to the branch. We unloaded the goods. The full time missionaries were there with about 20 members. There are 7 active member families.
The R.S pres was there and she told us she was going to take care of getting the food and clothes to members and non members who needed this the most. All needed this but they didn't want them to all show up and have a problem in giving it to them all at one time. She asked if we could get them a sewing machine so she could teach them how to sew. She wants them to become more self suffecient.

We are getting more stuff today and tomorrow to send on Tuesday with another friend who is going down. It's about 150 miles from our house to their town. The town is Sonota, Mex. Just over the border from Lukeville, AZ. We are going to send church pictures and garments for three families that are getting ready to go to the temple in a couple of months. We had a devotional meeting with them and the one missionary who was from Tex translated for us. Brad, Jeff, Boe, Bernice, and I spoke. I sang "I wonder when He comes again." Several of them spoke and were very humble and thankful to us and the people who helped send things for them. It was sweet. We sang in spanish and then went home.
On the way out of town we gave some lunch sandwiches to some men in the streets. One picture is of the one man. We told them we will be back again. What a great time.

Thanks to all for the help in getting this together.
It is awsome.

Ashley & Beau's Wedding Picts of the FAM!

This is totally late for getting on the blog,
(aaaah. . . . . 8 months is all!!!)
but I was just browsing through some of
Ashley's wedding picts and thought, I needed
to post all of these family pictures for
everyone to see!
They are so fun to look at, and I know
none of you have seen them!
If I run across some more,
I'll post them too.
Here's a few to entertain you all!
Oh yeah. . . . since we didn't get to go to
Adam's wedding, I'm totally waiting for
Julie and Brian to post some of
THEIR picts!!!
BTW: I think if you copy picts from
blogs they lose their quality, so if by chance
you want a good jpg of one of these,
just let me know and I'll send you a "keeper"! Enjoy!
